Adele has always been very straight-forward. I'm convinced that's the secondary reason that people love her (the first being the music...I think that's the first introduction most of us have had to Adele - who, by the way, just reached her 21st week at the top of the albums chart for 21...which sold 730,000 copies this week)!

Last night, Adele won Album of the Year at the Brit Awards (think Grammy's but with tea and a different timezone). The problem is that as she was giving a speech for the biggest award of the night...the awards decided to cut her speech short in a very Europeanly-direct way...and she was fairly direct with her feelings on it, as well:

Ironically, Sing-Off is the one show that wasn't mentioned in Simon Cowell's suggestion for a Reality Music Competition Sing-Off...but it sounds like the showdown between winners of The Voice, American Idol, and X Factor PROBABLY won't be happening...

Here's what last year's winning coach on The Voice had to say in response..

Adam Levine:  “Simon’s just so clever. He’s so hell bent on competing with other shows. We’re not really interested in a way… That’s kind of a cool idea, actually, but I’m not so sure we’re totally interested in what everyone else is doing. We’re just kind of worrying about what we do ‘cause we all know the more we worry about everybody else, the more the quality of what you’re doing tends to suffer. So, we want to just do what we do.”
