I was a Top 40 and Rock-N-Roll fan as a kid. Country Music? Yeehaw ??? I don't think so! Now I love Country Music...I still listen to everything.
I got into Radio in Upstate NY at a Rock station WPYX, Albany. Overnights 12am-6am which was especially hard after a night of partying! Moved to Florida to work in Tampa at 95YNF...Sunshine...Girls....Rock on! That station changed formats, and we all were out on our cans...Fired!
While working as a DJ on a cruise ship in Treasure Island, got introduced to "Country Night" on the boat. GarthBrooks, Travis Tritt, Brooks & Dunn...this stuff kinda rocks too, and I was hooked on Country. Love it now.
Arrived in SW Florida back in 1995 and worked a while at Q105 Country. When that station turned to Rap....I said "Crap"...and headed to Sarasota.
Kellie was a cutie even before Amercian Idol. Here is an early video from a beauty pageant she entered. She does a great job with Martina McBride's "Broken Wing"

Not a Good Start Before the season started, I had a feeling the Bucs were gonna have it tough. I was glad to see Gruden gone, but disappointed that we hired a head coach with no experience. Well I'm guessing the team might be having second thoughts about the choice after a 0-5 start. It's going to be a lonnnnggggggg year as a Bucs fan! More Sports Here
