The School District of Lee County is pleased to announce the third annual Digital Lee; a design+technology showcase of middle, high, and post-secondary students’ work, occurring on May 3, 2013. The exhibit will be held at the Art of the Olympians in the Fort Myers River District. Digital Lee will coincide with the Fort Myers Art Walk and Music Walk events, providing an opportunity for our community to experience the most innovative student work in the region. The best of our Graphic Design, Animation, Publication, and Web Design programs will be highlighted at this event.
Digital Lee was established to create a more relevant, community, and career focused learning experience for the technology students of Lee County. We strive to provide exposure for our students, thereby spurring career and internship opportunities, scholarships, and local design+technology involvement that will continue to make Southwest Florida a thriving community. With each successive year of Digital Lee, our students will gain a broader understanding of the design Industry, learn from the ingenuity of their peers, and advance their design skills for greater opportunity.
We would like to thank our generous sponsors for making this event possible: Certiport (Terabyte Sponsor), Hodges University, Adobe, Wacom, ClearChannel, and United Data Technologies (Gigabyte Sponsors).
